Digital Literacy: Social Media Seminar

In response to the growing influence of technology on young learners, we held a specialized digital literacy program on June 11, 2026. Through an educational seminar themed ‘Social Media and Me’, fourth and fifth-grade students were guided to comprehend the benefits, risks, and responsibilities of utilizing social media wisely and safely, alongside Ms. Dwi Martha from the Riau Regional Police (POLRI Riau). During the session, the representative from the regional police department provided critical insights into cyber safety, netiquette, and the potential legal aspects of digital communication. This collaborative guidance aims to ensure that students can leverage digital platforms for positive learning while remaining vigilant against online hazards.

Hopefully, the knowledge shared during this seminar will empower students to navigate the digital world with integrity, caution, and intelligence.
