Class Meeting Competition

At the end of semester 1, Santa Maria Primary School held various competitions on Thursday 14 December 2023. This activity was attended by all students from class 1 to class 6. The first competition was an inter-class choir competition. Students in grades 1-3 sang the Jingle Bells song, while grades 4-6 sang Joy to The World. The school gave appreciation for 1st and 2nd place winners of each level.

The second competition is a storytelling competition with a theme “My Experiences with Mom”. This theme is to commemorate Mother’s Day which is celebrated on December 22. This competition was attended by the representatives of each class. Three winners were selected from each category (Category A from class 1-3, category B from class 4-6). The school also had appreciation for the Favorite Winner with the most likes from their video in Santa Maria YouTube channel.

On the following day, Friday 15 December 2022, students attended end-of-year mass, together with their host siblings. The students gathered in the field and sat side by side with their older brothers and sisters. After the mass, they sat in circles and had breakfast together. It was really a fun time together!
