Fostering Environmental Stewardship: Santa Maria Elementary School Conducts Organic Fertilizer Workshop
In a strategic effort to cultivate an environmentally conscious culture within the school community, our school officially conducted an Organic Fertilizer Production Workshop.
The workshop was attended by educators, administrative staff, and 10 Green City Student Pioneers. The participants engaged in practical sessions to understand the lifecycle of organic waste management and its conversion into nutrient-rich compost.
This initiative constitutes part of the school’s long-term commitment to supporting sustainable education and fostering environmental stewardship from an early age. Through this program, our school aims to integrate ecological responsibility directly into the students’ character development and daily school operations.
This activity is highly expected to inspire the entire school community to reduce waste and actively implement organic waste management. Furthermore, the school hopes that the Green City Student Pioneers will become environmental ambassadors who share this sustainable knowledge with their peers and families, thereby creating a broader positive impact beyond the school environment.
