Chinese New Year Celebration
Students of Santa Maria Elementary School celebrated Chinese New Year on Saturday, February 17Ā 2024. We performed our talents through Mandarin songs by all students of 5A, 1E and 4A. There were also poems by grade 3 students, solo song by Eirene, duet by Ngesti-Alicia, dancing by Grades 1-6, and fashion shows. The highlight of the event was barongsai dance performance where students could give their angpaos to the lions.
Santa Maria Elementary School always celebrates Chinese New Year in a lively way with large number of Chinese students at this school.
