Independence Day Celebration

Students 0f SD SANTA MARIA Pekanbaru and SD Santa Maria Pasir Putih commemorated the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia with great fanfare. On Saturday, August 17 2024, students and teachers took part in a flag ceremony. On Monday, August 19 2024, students took part in various types of exciting competitions, which are decorating wall magazines in the classrooms, eating crackers, relay squatting and arranging color cards in groups. On Saturday, August 24 2024, it was the teachers’ turn to take part in various competitions, such as eating crackers, rock-scissors-paper, arranging colors, putting nails into bottles, poison balls and football. We are so grateful to God for the courage of our national heroes in the past time, so that we can enjoy and celebrate independence with joy every year!
