Visiting the Museum of Sang Nila Utama

Students of Grade 5 SD Santa Maria visited Museum Sang Nila Utama. This museum is a heritage museum in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. Students saw and learnt many items related to the Riau-Malay culture such as Malay wedding costumes, traditional toys, musical instruments and other traditional artifacts. They learn the Riau Malay Culture at school. Here, they could see the real things they have read from the text books. Hopefully, they will become the next generation who maintain and preserve the Indonesian noble culture!
