Reading Competitions

Indonesian commemorate National Book Day on 17 May. We celebrate it by carrying out various activities, such as: reading books together, visiting the library, buying favorite books and holding various competitions for all students from grade 1 to 6. The competitions aim to: 1. increase children’s interest in reading, 2. divert attention from gadgets to books, 3. get used to visiting the library again, 4. spend money to buy books instead of toys, 5. share books with friends.  The competitions are: Reading Aloud Contest, Storytelling Contest, and Speed ​​Reading Contest. The prizes are provided by PT. Erlangga, Pekanbaru.
